I always knew when the teacher was getting ready to call my name on the first day of school.  She or He would have this confused look and hesitantly yell out "ace?"  My name is pronounced as "I-Shay" in case you were wondering.

I was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey.  I came to this country in the 80's and immediately fell in love.  Why?  Well because I fell in love with the sounds of Depeche Mode and Madonna.  Why else?!

The photo in my profile is one of me heading to DM's concert in Santa Barbara in 2009.  I was in the second row from the stage!!  I have a magical love affair (only in my mind, of course) with David Gahan.

On a serious note, though, I am a mother of two boys and enjoy being a free bird.  I have an inquisitive mind and thrive on having new experiences.  Isn't that what life is all about anyway??
